1999 - we started producing woven mesh in our old workshop. One worker with a wire drawing machine and a metal mesh weaving machine.
1999-2004 - we have been continuously improving the production technology and technology, improve the production efficiency and quality.
2004-2014 - we start producing gabion mesh, gabion basket and gabion boxes with 1 set gabion weaving machine, at end of 2014, we owned 4 sets of gabion weaving machine.
2014 - Hebei Nova Metal Wire Mesh Product Co., Ltd registered, we started exporting of gabion boxes and gabion baskets and other metal wire mesh products to the world.
2015 - Nova gabion baskets and es were use at river training project of Yellow River.
Nova moved to new factory located in Cuianpu of Anping and the products were export to
France, America, Japan, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
2016-Nova es were use in Songhuajiang river training project.
2017 - Nova sack gabion and were used in 39 river regulation project in Yunnan province.
2019 - Now we have 2 production plants, equipped with more 15 sets of gabion weaving machine and one set of gabion box automatic production line, which productivity over 30000 square meters of gabion mesh per day.

Quality Assurance System
Nova metal Wire Mesh is an ISO9001 certificated company which has equiped with most advanced mesh weaving machine and production technology.
In order to ensure product quality, our company has advanced testing equipment and keep improving the management system, we are focusing on providing quality products and the best service to customers all over the world!
Nova products have passed the test of China national supervision center for quality of metal wire mesh products. As well as our products passed the test of SGS.

About inspection of our gabion products in Nova factory:
１. Inspection of wire - IQC
Our inspection start from raw material inspection, we random inspect the wire when a batch of wire arrive our factory. The inspection including:
a- Diameter
b- Thickness of galvanization.
c- Tensile strength and elongation.
d- For PVC coated wire, check the thickness of PVC layer and the hardness of PVC coating.
If all items passed the inspection, we'll put the wire into our warehouse and approved to used in production.
2. On line inspection of gabion box production line:
a- When 1st piece of gabion mesh comes out from machine, the worker measures the dimension of holes make sure they meet all the the requirements of standard or customer. After 1st article approved, then start production of gabion mesh.
b- When start weaving of gabion mesh, the workers will measure the hole size every 1 hour, make sure it meet the specification requirements.
c- Line leaders check the size of gabion boxes and matresses.
3. Finished products inspection - OQC
Each batch of finished gabion products will be inspected. The inspector randomly take samples from different bundles of the gabion baskets, measure the dimensions of body wire, selvedge wire and box size..., the OQC is according to ASTM 975 or EN 10223 standard or customer's standard.
