Engineered from double-twisted hexagonal-woven steel wire mesh, Nova es are cages being more and more used in Channel, River, and streamworks for erosion control and river bank protection.
Nova es are assembled at the project site after being delivered flat-packed, they are flexible and permeable monolithic structures. In order to create flexible, permeable, monolithic constructions like river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control projects, nova es are filled with stones at the project site. All mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire with a larger diameter to strengthen the construction.
