A: According to EN10223, heavy Zine galvanized, class A gabion baskets can last up to 25 years in low aggressive condition (dry condition, like desert, sub-arctic areas), and Zinc coated gabion class A can last more than 10 years in midium addressive condition. If want longer life, Galfan(Zn90%Al10% alloy) is recommended. PVC and PA6 coating can extend the life significantly.
